How do you describe being an emergent baptist?
I am committed to the Baptist distinctives but sometimes feel I am a Baptist pastor because it is a comfortable option but I study post grad at an AOG seminary and read across the theological spectrum so I guess I want to take the best of what I feel God is exposing me to in order to create a 21st century church community,
What do you love to do?
I love to study theology. I love to watch Aston Villa play but I will watch any football that's going.
What books have meant the most to you?
A lot of Moltmann and Pinnock. They have stretched and challenged me such a lot. I really appreciate Amos Yong as well.
What music best articulates your soul?
Ambient and Heavy. I like the extremes.
Who are the historical baptist personalities you identify with most?
Spurgeon.
Who are the theologians, philosophers, teachers, etc. that you live in dialog with?
Moltmann, Pinnock, Yong and Kierkegaard.

Prayer

This last week has been so encouraging as people both churched and unchurched have begun to catch the vision that I have for a presence in Newcastle CBD to reach out to the pub/club subculture. I certainly feel that I am called and equipped for such a role and am praying for and talking about others who may want to join me in… Continue
