I don't really think of myself as a baptist anymore...I think of myself as someone who is trying to follow God through the way of Jesus Christ. I got to the point that I felt like my faith was more of a barrier than a bridge - I am trying to correct that.
What do you love to do?
Read, be with people, go to movies, listen to music, discuss theology, blogging, spend time with my husband and sons, have people in my home, help others, travel, go to the beach, plays and musicals, write, decorate, throw a pary.
What books have meant the most to you?
That is a hard one - I love to read and lots of books have meant a lot to me. I guess I might be inclined to point out "A New Kind Of Christian" by Brian McLaren as I read it at a time when I was starting to feel out of sync with my faith community and it introduced me to the Emergent conversation which helped to reignite my faith.
What music best articulates your soul?
Right now I am listening to a lot of Jason Mraz but I love a lot of different kinds of music....mostly current stuff.
